In November 2024, the team at Dynamic Broadcast were proud to partner with Masters Football as their broadcast production partner for the Texo Scottish Masters, at the P&J Live in Aberdeen.

 

Alongside local facilities provider Hi-Sat Broadcast on site, we delivered coverage of a pulsating event as veterans of Celtic, Rangers, Dundee United, and Aberdeen rolled back the years on the famous Masters Football blue carpet.

 

The event itself delivered high drama, with unlikely hometown heroes Aberdeen coming out on top in a penalty shootout victory over Rangers. 

 

Player of the Tournament went to recently retired stopper Joe Lewis who, not satisfied with a string of top class saves to keep his team in the hunt, even popped up with a goal himself in the highlight moment of the night, sending the already raucous home fans into raptures.

 

Our coverage, fronted by Connie McLaughlin with Rob MacLean leading on commentary, and roving reporter Tyrone Smith by the benches, was delivered to BBC Scotland’s linear and digital channels and was well received during the international break, garnering an impressive viewership.

 

The event was a pleasure to be a part of and we are looking forward to continuing our exciting partnership with Masters Football through their 2025 calendar.
